Getting to Wood Festival

Cycle to Wood

Cycle to wood and receive a free pint or soft drink at the bar!
Cycle parking will be provided.

Bus Travel

Braziers Park is served by the X39/X40 Thames Travel service connecting to Oxford, Wallingford and Reading. The Braziers Lane stop is a request stop so ask the driver, and it’s a 5 minute walk to the festival site from the stop. Take care if crossing the busy A4074. You should be able to see the yellow AA signs and other Wood signage.

Train

It’s best to go to Reading station and then catch the X39/X40 bus to Braziers Park, as these buses run from just outside the station. Goring & Streatley Station is around 40-60 minutes walk with steep hills and no buses- occasionally taxis.

To catch a bus from Reading railway station, leave the station at the main entrance, cross the road opposite and make your way to bus stop EB. The X39 takes approximately 25 minutes. The X40 turns off for a loop of Woodcote before rejoining the X39 route, so takes 5-10 minutes longer.

By Car

£20. The charge varies depending on vehicle occupancy, as part of our environmental commitment. If the vehicle has only one occupant you will have to pay a further £5;
if it has 3 or more, we will refund £5. Camping is not permitted in the car park.

CAR SHARING is recommended if you can’t avoid coming by car.

Accommodation at Wood Festival

Camping

Camping is included in your ticket price.
A limited number of campervan passes are available.
We need to keep an emergency access lane through the campsite, and also to make sure there is room for everyone to camp; please co-operate with any requests from our friendly campsite stewards. We regret that no gazebos are allowed in the campsite. For your safety the campsite is monitored 24 hours.

Wood-fired showers will be available. Usual times are Friday 5 - 10 pm, Saturday 7 am - 10 pm, Sunday 7 am - 10 pm, and 7am - 10 am Monday (TBC).
